The book is fascinating - especially the modules of positive disruptions that must occur. All of the healthcare reforms that are being bandied about will not cure the ever rising upward curve of healthcare expense and the damage those costs will inflict on the nation's economy. We must reestablish the cost-services spectrum in the ways outlined in the book, and find more efficient ways to get the proverbial bang for our healthcare bucks. We are so missing the boat in our failure to weave a cohesive EHR system into healthcare - it should be a national crash program similar to our national committment program that got us to the moon. We have the technology - noew we need the resolve.
